Well, if you must potty train your child. It may help to have underpants before beginning. But, if you fly by the seat of your potties like me, it is POSSIBLE to start the process without any training 'gear' other than the potty seat. I did plan for that one. Day 1 Successes: Pooped on the potty, peed on the potty! Hurray hurray! Day 1 Drawbacks: Pooped in his pants. Peed in his pants. Won't nap because he keeps wanting to go on the potty. (?!) Hmmmm. Your thoughts and advice are welcome.
