You're Invited

We have a new home! Yeah! You know, it is typical for people to post before and after photos when they start a new project or get a new home. Since we have three children under four and my hubby is in a fairly intensive graduate program right now, we won't be having any 'after' photos for a LONG time. Nevertheless, you are all invited to my home for dinner as soon as I can get out of a couple dozen more boxes! And to tickle your fancy and encourage you to come, I'll post a humble photo of our new dining room. Hope you can make it!

Update

For anyone who still checks this blog thing, here is a quick update.

I'm considering leaving the blog world and just providing email updates to those who want them.

What do you think??

But until I do that, here is a snippet of where I am:

Columbia, S.C.
(Tagline is "Famously Hot". It's appropriate.)

Got a house! Yeah!

It's full of our stuff! Yeah!

Like someone lifted the roof, backed a dump truck up and unloaded it.

Trying to sort through it. JG and E love their play boxes. NM loves to eat cellophane that has been used to wrap all the furniture! And boy does she LOVE crawling. It's like she has a new identity now that she can move and explore the world on her own. She is so much fun. They all three are, really.

Miss you! (Meaning friends, family, world I don't interact with anymore!)

My sleeping angel

T's last day of work at FD. He was driving the truck. Was rear ended by this guy whose car then caught on fire.

Sad boo-boo face.

Breakfast faces. Scrambled egg hair, peach eyes, English muffin nose, banana grin. Brought some grins from two toddlers too.

Ahhh. She is SO MUCH FUN! These are her 'sunglasses'. They once had lenses in them. She likes to put them on all the time and will sit in her bed 'reading' books while wearing them. Cracks me up.

The rest of the day was quite easy.
I did all the jobs on my list
And enjoyed them and had some time over.

In case you were wondering, this quote from the end of Wendy Cope's poem is NEVER actualized in my life right now. Sound nice though, doesn't it?
