I made cookies! This is a big deal because I never bake, first of all, and second of all because they turned out PUFFY!! Yeah! For all of you familiar with Colorado cooking, you understand my excitement!

Thomas' Visit

Well, we didn't really get many pictures while Thomas was here. Thomas took some shots of the guys skiing and snow shoeing, but all I got were these two photos.

Thomas, send me your pictures! Thomas took to calling Jack Greer a 'turtle' since he can flip from his tummy onto his back. Then he just lies there and waves his arms and legs. Much like a little turtle (or cockroach, but I'd much rather refer to my son as a turtle). This is a problem during nap time since he is a tummy sleeper. He'll probably get over the turtle stage too soon, like all his stages that are passing too quickly.

Todd-ette and Todd-let

Can you see the similarity?? The first picture is Skeeter's cousin Neely when she was a baby! Crazy, huh?

Garrison's Birthday

Garrison, our nephew (J.G.'s cousin) turned 3 this month! We went to the party, of course, and now everytime Skeeter visits Garrison, Garrison says, "you were at my birthday party!" As if he is really surprised to see him again.

Green

I'm aching to see greenery right now. Even bugs would be a welcome site today. It's 19 degrees and snowing. Again.

Fire Fighter's Memorial

Last fall, Todd and I went to the Fire Fighter's Memorial ceremony at Memorial Park. They do it once a year and firemen from all over the country come to attend those who have died in the line of duty. Their names are engraved on a wall. It was really neat.
